Yard waste collection
Curbside pickup of residential yard waste will end on Thursday December 3, and will not resume until April, 2016.  All yard waste should be placed with your recyclables separately from your trash on your regular trash  day.
 
Acceptable yard waste items include: grass clippings, leaves, yard and garden waste, pruning debris, wood debris and brush. 
 
Unacceptable items include: food scraps, animal waste, batteries, chemicals, sod, dirt and clay.
 
Twigs, branches, brush, pruning andd wood debris must be tied with heavy twine into bundles no longer than 3 feet, not exceeding 1 1/2 inches in diameter, and weighing no more than 50 pounds.  Bundles are limited to six bundles a week.
 
Grass clippings, leaves and garden waste must be placed in 30-gallon paper yard waste bags or 32-gallon reusable containers with sturdy handles marked "YARD WASTE".  Stickers fir reusable containers are available at Canton Treasurer's Office.  Containers weighing over 50 pounds or that are over 32 gallons will not be accepted.
